Ulrich Müller is professor for Educational Leadership and Management and for Further Education at the Ludwigsburg University of Education. He is director of the Institute for Educational Leadership and head of the Department of Bildungsmanagement.

Studies in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Music-Education and Didactics of Biology at Universities in Augsburg and Eichstätt, degree as Dipl.-Päd.; course instructor, trainer and coach in Further Education; educational assistant at the correctional facility Kaisheim; from 1988 to 1999 scientific assistant at the chair of Adult Education of the Catholic University Eichstätt, 1993 promotion to Dr. phil., 1998 habilitattion to Dr. phil. habil.; 

Since 1999 self-employed with the “Werkstatt für neue Lernkultur” - consulting for Further Education; Executive Education and Training, Train-the-Trainer, Didactic Consulting for companies and for Further Education facilities.

Since 2003 Professor (C4) for Educational Leadership and Further Education at Ludwigsburg University of Education; buildup of the newly founded institute for Educational Leadership; buildup of the masters program in Educational Leadership and the certificate study program in Educational Leadership; head of the institute from 2003 to 2007, from 2010 to 2012, from 2015 to today (cf. www.bildungsmanagement.ph-ludwigsburg.de).
